AFN declares climate change state of emergency

The Alaska Federation of Natives has declared a state of emergency on climate change.


The plane that ran off the end of the runway at the Unalaska/Dutch Harbor Airport was hoisted from the crash site by a large crane Saturday afternoon.


Police say 38-year-old Anesha Murnane went missing from her assisted living facility near Main Street and Lee Street in Homer Thursday.
